Christmas in Texas

Snow for Christmas! After Christmas in Montana last year (where we had several feet of snow), Gabbrielle decided you just couldn't have Christmas without snow......so she prayed, and prayed, and prayed without ceasing. Well....it was 70 degrees on Christmas Eve Eve and then on Christmas Eve this is what happened.....

And this is what it looked like on Christmas morning....

Christmas Trip to New Braunfels!

We decided to head to New Braunfels a few days before Christmas and check out Christmas at Schlitterbaun! Yes, it's a water park turned Winter Wonderland. A winter wonderland trip......72 degrees :-) We had a great time!

The girls made some "friends" at our hotel!

We also went to the Wildlife Refuge in San Antonio. It was such a beautiful day and the kids loved all the animals.

The ostrich particularly liked John ;-)

Gabbrielle now is an "official ostrich hater".

Bethany's Christmas Cookout!

Bethany had her Christmas cookout party this weekend! The kids spent a lot of time running around and "doing what kids do"! John even put up a tree swing for the occasion. We had hot dogs, cookies, hot chocolate and a gift exchange by the fire. It was cold, but it was fun!

Gabbrielle's Christmas Skate Show!

Gabbrielle had her Christmas skate show last week and her group were reindeer! The cutest reindeer I ever saw :-) They worked for 8 weeks on their number and they all did a great job!
